The 5 word summary really sums up everything, there is not much else to the main story. and strangely I found the movie pretty awesome.
I have problems with horror movies that are completely ridiculous and try to hide that. In the case of Black Sheep, they know exactly how crazy the story is and embrace it and add that touch of comedy that is need in such a movie. As far a horror comedies go I was quite impressed.
The acting wasn’t anything special, nor the directing for that matter, and its hard to judge the writing cause it is so ridiculous that its hard to tell when its bad horror writing and when its good horror comedy writing.
The special effects were surprising. They are actually great for the most part. Also to go with the surprising elements is the cinematography. The picture (color and contrast etc) were actually kind of beautiful, which is funny for such an ugly movie.
I would suggest this film to anyone who enjoys some laughs with their gore. If you enjoy other horror comedies, like evil dead series or especially Dead Snow, don’t miss this crazy fim
